Starting work
▼ I reserve the right to refuse a project that I feel I cannot complete sufficiently, due to the nature of the work requested, or for any other reason(s) unspecified. I will be completely honest with you if I feel I cannot create what you’re looking for.*
▼ I retain full rights to the composition, commissioned work, and any rejected demos - including the right to upload them to my own sites/portfolio (Twitter, SoundCloud, etc.), commercially or non-commercially for the purpose of showcasing my work. If you're looking to purchase full rights to the composition and recording, please contact me and we can discuss options.**
▼ I require full payment upfront (USD) via PayPal before beginning work on the project.
▼All payment is final and non-refundable once work as initiated.** If you are in a waitlist or queue and payment has not been exchanged, you are free to forfeit your slot at any point before work begins.**
▼my average turnaround is anywhere between 3 - 12 days from starting and varies depending on the scale of the requested deliverables.
(If your project has a deadline, we can negotiate more options and plans via Direct Message through either Discord/Twitter/Etc.)
Delayed responses on important communications such as project information and WIP feedback may result in the commission being delayed.**
▼I reserve the right to share (non-NDA) WIPs + completed commissions on social media sites and/or my portfolio.**
▼ Commissions you will receive from me are digital files only. WAV. files by default. You may request alternative formats such as MP3, FLAC, etc. The files will be provided to you via email, Discord, or Twitter, depending on previous methods of communication. (Please note that the download link for files will expire 7 days after final delivery.)
During the Process
▼ Before I begin work, please provide me with 1-3 references that capture the sound that you'd like to achieve. Additionally, it's very helpful to know what you like about them - even if you don't know the exact instruments used or musical terms!
(_Example: "I really love this piano song and how it has an overall calm and lush vibe.")▼ Once payment has been exchanged and work has begun, I will send over musical "sketches/demos" of the work to you for your approval. After you approve of the general direction of the work, it will then proceed on to the "draft(s)" stage where I begin making fixed changes/adjustments to the work.▼ Any revisions requested after the "demo/sketch" stage are approved in accordance with the commission tier you have selected from my Fiverr gigs.
▼ If for any reason I’ve started but cannot complete the work within the agreed-upon timeframe and additional time cannot be granted, you will be refunded the full amount you originally paid using the same method of payment within 10-14 days.
Allowed Usage/Copyright Information:
▼a. By paying for the commission, you are granted an exclusive sync license for the completed work which allows for limited commercial use.----If you're ever unsure about allowed usage, please freely ask me at any time!---With this license, you may:
✓ Use the work in your monetized streams
✓ Use the work in monetized videos for sites such as YouTube and Twitter, as long as it is paired alongside original visual content and the audio is not the main focus (stream VODs, tutorials, debut trailers, videos showcasing your Live2D model, etc.)**▼b.If you'd like to distribute the work to music services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), use it in media (games/film), etc: an additional full commercial use fee and/or royalty split agreement will apply depending on the desired usage.
Full commercial use fees start at 2x the price of the commission.---▼When using the work in any content, you must provide credit back to either my Twitter or website somewhere reasonably visible. (example: BGM by Balynsus)
Non-Allowed Usage
▼ Uploading the work for the sole purpose of commercial monetization is not allowed, it must be used alongside your own visual content if monetized.Without a full commercial use license, you may not:
✕ Distribute the work to music stores (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
✕ Upload a monetized video where showcasing the audio work is the main focus (example: song showcase)▼ No one else has permission to use your commissioned work, commercially or non-commercially, unless it is in content pertaining to/involving you and they have your direct permission (OK example: interviews).
However, even with your permission, monetized use by a third-party is prohibited before contacting me first. The only exception to this rule is stream clip channel uploads where the work is heard in the background of the stream clip(s).**
▼You may not use the work without visible credit to me and/or claim the work as your own or someone else's.
▼ You may not re-distribute or re-sell the work in any way, including in any blockchain/cryptocurrency-related technology such as NFTs.
Violation this prompt will result in, your license to use the commissioned work being revoked. You will be forbidden from commissioning me again, and your name/handles will be shared publicly to protect others.Please note that the exclusive holder of the license is the person/entity that it was commissioned for, and anyone else who uses it may be subject to copyright infringement and DMCA.**
